Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Laurens Lavish Creations. By booking our event-planning services, party rentals, decorations, jumpers, or other rental items, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Booking & Deposits
A deposit is required to reserve your event date and requested services or rental items.
All deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit secures your date and allows Laurens Lavish Creations to reserve inventory, services, staff, and resources specifically for your event.
A date is not considered fully reserved until the required deposit has been received.
Changes to Your Event
We understand that event details can change. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes to your event, subject to availability.
Requests for changes should be made at least two weeks (14 days) before your scheduled event date.
Changes requested less than 14 days before the event may not be possible and may be subject to additional charges, depending on the requested change.
Any increase in services, rentals, guest count, or other additions may require an additional payment.
Final Payment for Parties & Events
For parties and event-planning services, final payment is due no later than the day before your scheduled event unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Example:
If your event is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, your final payment is due by Friday, June 19.
Events that have not been paid in full by the required deadline may be subject to cancellation or may not be fulfilled until the balance is paid, subject to the circumstances and availability.
Jumpers & Rental Items
For jumpers, inflatables, and rental items, the final payment is due upon delivery unless another payment arrangement has been agreed upon in writing.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that payment can be made when the rental items are delivered.
Rental Items & Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for rental items from the time of delivery until they are picked up by Laurens Lavish Creations.
Customers agree to use rental items appropriately and in accordance with any instructions provided.
The customer may be responsible for costs associated with lost, stolen, excessively damaged, or intentionally damaged rental items.
Normal wear and tear is not considered damage.
Event Access & Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing a safe and accessible location for delivery, setup, and pickup of rental items.
Any special delivery instructions, stairs, long-distance carrying, difficult access, or other circumstances that may affect delivery or setup should be communicated in advance.
Additional fees may apply for circumstances requiring additional time, labor, or equipment.
Weather & Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Certain outdoor rentals and events may be affected by weather or circumstances beyond our control.
Laurens Lavish Creations will make reasonable efforts to work with the customer when weather or other unforeseen circumstances affect an event. Any changes, postponements, or cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis according to availability and the circumstances involved.

By submitting a booking, paying a deposit, or accepting delivery of rental items, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Laurens Lavish Creations reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions as necessary. The terms applicable to a customer's booking are those provided or agreed upon at the time of booking.

Terms & Conditions - the basics
Having said that, Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are a set of legally binding terms defined by you, as the owner of this website. The T&C set forth the legal boundaries governing the activities of the website visitors, or your customers, while they visit or engage with this website. The T&C are meant to establish the legal relationship between the site visitors and you as the website owner.
T&C should be defined according to the specific needs and nature of each website. For example, a website offering products to customers in e-commerce transactions requires T&C that are different from the T&C of a website only providing information (like a blog, a landing page, and so on).
T&C provide you as the website owner the ability to protect yourself from potential legal exposure, but this may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, so make sure to receive local legal advice if you are trying to protect yourself from legal exposure.
What to include in the T&C document
Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.
